Mark Charlamb '87, a cardiologist from Fayetteville, N.Y., will discuss his career in medicine at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in UU-111.

Charlamb graduated from Binghamton University with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse where he also completed his internship, residency and chief residency in internal medicine. He served a clinical and research fellowship in cardiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and Medical Society of the State of New York, a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and board certified in Nuclear Cardiology.

“A Day in the Life” lecture series gives students the opportunity to hear from alumni representing a variety of profession specialties. A Q&A session will follow the talk.
