2019 Stephen A. Lisman Annual Lecture in Clinical Psychology

Terence M. Keane, MA '76, PhD '79, SD '11, will deliver the 2019 Stephen A. Lisman Annual Lecture in Clinical Psychology at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, in FA-Watters Theater.

Keane, director of the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder's Behavioral Science Division and a professor of psychiatry and clinical psychology at Boston University, will discuss "Contributions of Psychological Science to the Understanding and Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)." The talk will highlight the current status of psychological treatments for PTSD, while providing insights into new directions for future work.

The lecture series honors Lisman's 43 years of service and contributions to Binghamton University and the clinical psychology field.
