Step beyond the drama and into the real world of medicine. Hear firsthand from physicians about medical school, their careers, the challenges and rewards of practicing medicine, and what TV doesn’t show you. Fall treats provided! Bring your questions!

Dr. Giovanna Baye ’16 is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric emergency medicine physician. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the New York Medical College School of Medicine before completing her pediatric residency, followed by a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine, both at NYU Langone Health/Bellevue Hospital. She currently serves as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine attending physician and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, where she provides evidence-based, compassionate care for acutely ill and injured children. Her professional interests include point-of-care ultrasound, quality improvement, patient safety, and medical education.
