Details

Students will engage in Excel skill-building lab exercises using a data set to develop the following skills: Basic Setup and Usage of Excel, Data Manipulation, Formatting, and Analysis, Data Visualization, Macros and Formula Types, VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables and Visual Basic Applications (VBA). They will also learn about how income data demonstrates disparities among gender and racial groups within the United States. Students will complete a pre-test and post-test to assess each of these skills in addition to the interactive lab exercises. Snacks provided by the GSO. This event is co-sponsored by the SA VP for Student Success.
