Graphic Novels and Comix: a talk with artist/writers Jess Ruliffson and Emma Jensen

Join us in conversation with Emma Jensen, Comic Artist, writer educator and Co-Director of the Sequential Artists Workshop and Jess Rulliffson, SAW instructor, artist, writer, and author of the recently released Invisible Wounds: Graphic Journalism, graphic interviews with vets from Iraq and Afghanistan. This will be an open conversation. They will discuss their paths to comics, their educational and artistic choices, the traditional publishing and independent maker side of the comix world, as well as the challenge of making a living while making comix and graphic novels.
