Join Harpur Edge, the Sociology Department, and the office of Alumni Engagement for an in-person Lunch and Learn with Timothy Auh ('02), an Immigration judge (bio below) to hear about his time at Binghamton as a Sociology major and how it prepared him for his career journey! Lunch is provided thanks to the student alumni networking fee.

(Timothy) Kyung S. Auh was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in March 2019. He is also the Staff Judge Advocate for the 224th Air Defense Group, Eastern Air Defense Sector, New York Air National Guard. Judge Auh earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2002 from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from the City of New York University School of Law. From 2016 to 2018, he served as an assistant chief counsel for the Office of Chief Counsel, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Miami. From 2010 to 2016, he served as an assistant district attorney with the Queens County District Attorney's Office in Kew Gardens, New York. From 2003 to 2018, he also served in the Air Force on active duty and held various headquarters staff positions with the New York and Florida Air National Guard. Judge Auh is a member of the New York State Bar.
