Interested in becoming a role model for young women? Passionate about closing the gender gap in technology?

Girls Who Code is a non-profit organization working to educate, empower, and equip young women with the computing skills to pursue a career in technology.

Our club at Binghamton University hopes to carry out this mission by offering free programming classes to girls (6-12th grade). We offer three programs: Beginner Python for Middle School, Beginner Python for High School, and Beginner C++ for Middle and High School. These classes occur weekly on Saturday mornings from 10 am-12 pm.

Our chapter is recruiting Watson students to be Teaching Instructors this upcoming Fall Semester. No prior programming skills required! Details in the flyer attached.
