Come join the Academic Writing Space on 9/25 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm for a talk and discussion organized by the graduate school on the process for getting your scientific research published with Dr. Fuda Ning (School of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering) at Binghamton University.

Dr. Fuda Ning's research interest lies in additive manufacturing (AM) processes with a technical focus on process development and fundamental understanding of multi-scale interactions between energy input and materials. His recent research has been toward the extrusion-based AM of metal alloys. Dr. Ning’s research has been sponsored by NSF, SEMI-FlexTech, and industry. He has over 100 academic publications with more than 8,000 citations. His team owns 13 journal articles with an impact factor higher than 10. Due to the impact of his research, Dr. Ning has been among Stanford’s Top 2% Scientist List in the world since 2021. He is also a recipient of the NSF CAREER award and an Early-stage Distinguished Research award by the Watson College of Engineering. He is now Associate Editor or Editorial Board Members for seven journals in the advanced manufacturing field.
