Wherever we go, our mind goes with us. What is meditation, and how does it work? Why do people turn to it today? While many people think of meditation as a single practice, it is in fact a broad term that encompasses many different approaches. In this talk, we’ll explore meditation through a Buddhist-informed perspective, examining the views underpinning different methods, the dynamics of how they function, and the kinds of inner transformation they are designed to cultivate. Join us as we sample a range of techniques and consider how meditation fits into contemporary life.
