You've spent years becoming a specialist in your field, but are now moving into the paradox of current realities: the deep expertise that got you here may feel limiting or daunting to maintain in today's rapidly evolving job market. This session acknowledges that uncertainty isn't an obstacle to overcome—it's a critical part of your career navigation and success. This interactive session is designed specifically for post-doctoral professionals interested in how to balance maintaining and pursuing their specialized training while also developing long-term career resilience and strategic advantage. Through Dr. Brancu's personal stories and how she has helped hundreds of clients, we'll explore developing strategic career thinking, flexible professional identities, transferable skill identification, and 5 ways to strengthen your career growth beyond traditional training. As part of the Graduate Center for Professional Development and Postdoctoral Affairs' celebration of National Postdoc Appreciation Week, this virtual conversation with Dr. Mira Brancu will create space for postdoctoral scholars to consider what's next in their career path.

Dr. Mira Brancu is the Founder and CEO of Towerscope, an award-winning social impact consulting firm that helps executives and their teams lead effectively today and better navigate tomorrow.
