Generative AI and the PhD. Job Search

With a specific focus on folks who have a doctorate but are not seeking academic roles, participants will get hands on experience with tools that streamline the process of job searching and submitting materials. Invited attendees include those doctoral students who will graduate before 2026 and current postdocs at Binghamton. This workshop will guide attendees through broad strokes of generative AI and its use in the job search process. Attendees should attend with at least an academic CV, though we recommend bringing a resume and sample cover letter, as well. We will engage the tools on your materials to help you move to the next step.
