Whether you're heading into a law firm, a financial institution, or a data-driven role, Excel is a very important skill. Even if you aren't data focused, becoming familiar with Excel and how to navigate it will put you ahead in your future job or internship. This is Part 2 of our hands-on Excel workshop, led by Peer Industry Mentor Rai. We'll be diving into three of the most powerful and widely used features in Excel — the ones that turn raw data into something you can actually present and act on.
In 1.5 focused hours, you'll learn:
PivotTables — how to drag, drop, and summarize thousands of rows in seconds
PivotCharts — turning your PivotTable into an interactive, dynamic visual
Macros — recording your first macro and understanding what automation in Excel looks like
No prior Excel experience required! Bring your laptop with Excel installed. Excel on Web works too!
If you anticipate a need for disability-related accommodations or auxiliary aids to attend or participate, please contact The Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development at careers@binghamton.edu. We ask that you provide us with at least 3-5 days of advance notice regarding your equal access needs.
