Interested in exploring a career in healthcare? Join Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) for a virtual career exploration session designed to help you learn more about the many ways you can gain experience, build skills, and launch your healthcare career while you are still in college.

WMCHealth is a leading academic health system with nine hospitals across seven campuses in New York’s Hudson Valley. The network provides advanced care across a wide range of specialties and is home to the Hudson Valley’s only Level 1 Trauma Center serving both pediatric and adult patients.

During this interactive session, members of the WMCHealth Education Outreach Team will discuss:

• Internship opportunities for college students
• Volunteer opportunities to gain hands on healthcare experience
• Clinical and nonclinical career paths across a large health system
• Research, administrative, public health, and allied health opportunities
• Post graduation career opportunities with WMCHealth
• What it is like to work in a major academic healthcare network

You do not need to be a healthcare major to attend. This session is open to students from all majors who are curious about healthcare careers, including students interested in clinical care, research, public health, healthcare administration, allied health, and other healthcare related fields.

Whether you are just starting to explore healthcare careers or already know where you want to go, this is a chance to hear directly from healthcare professionals, ask questions, and learn about opportunities you can pursue now and after graduation - ongoing career opportunities as positions are posted daily
