Program Description: Sustainability reporting is a rapidly growing field as companies seek to show both efficiency and understanding of sustainability within their industries. In this hands-on workshop, you will explore how organizations evaluate environmental impact and turn raw operational data into a clear story. Working in small groups with sample business metrics, you will practice drafting a core section of a corporate sustainability report under the guidance of a seasoned industry professional! Presenter Background: Jackie Beebe ('04 English, '04 Environmental Studies) is an accounting professional with a passion for environmental sustainability. After working for over a decade in forestry, she made the transition to accounting with the dream of helping organizations integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics into core decision-making processes. Skill(s) Students will Learn: Using environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics to develop a Sustainability Report for a business or organization.
