In this 2-hour book repair session, we will focus primarily on re-attaching loose pages and covers with spine reinforcement. Other topics will include basic tools, water, smell and even pest damage.

Meet Heather Adams, Head of Preservation and Conservation at Binghamton University Library. She has a background in English and History BA from Virginia Tech, MLIS from Florida State & FdA of Book Conservation from Camberwell College of Arts in London. This experience extends to the Victoria & Albert Museum, The National Archives in London, Stanley Kubrick Museum, Charles Dickens House Museum. She currently oversees a department of 2 full-time staff and 2 students, preserving and conserving the collection's approximately 220,000 books.
