Want to learn how to discover and apply for valuable off-campus scholarships and fellowships? In this two-part practical workshop, students will learn strategies for searching for funding opportunities that align with their unique backgrounds and career goals. Facilitators will guide attendees through building competitive application materials and effectively sharing their personal story. Undergraduates of all majors will leave with tangible skills and clear action items to confidently pursue funding for their future.

Led by Dr. Beth Polzin of the External Scholarships and Undergraduate Research Center, who has spent her career helping students build research proposals, writing skills, and funding applications. Joining her are Michael Wan, Financial Literacy Program Specialist and Fleishman Scholarship Funds Committee member, and Chris Wandell, who manages the Fleishman Career Center's Experiential Learning programs and reviews scholarship applications.

If you anticipate a need for disability-related accommodations or auxiliary aids to attend or participate, please contact Fleishman Center at careers@binghamton.edu We ask that you provide us with at least 3-5 days of advance notice regarding your equal access needs.
