This session will introduce students to an incredible opportunity to live, learn, and intern in Washington, D.C. for a full semester. Through the program, students gain hands-on experience with internships on Capitol Hill, within federal agencies, nonprofits, and other leading organizations—while completing academic coursework and building a strong professional network.
The session will be led by Casey Cappelletti, Internship Coordinator and a proud alumna of the Fall 2015 cohort. Casey will share her personal experience in the program, offer insight into how it prepares students for life after college, and walk through what to expect—from the application process to securing an internship in D.C.
Whether you're exploring career paths or ready to take the next step toward a future in public service, policy, communications, or beyond, this session will give you a clear understanding of how the SUNY Washington Internship Program can help you get there.
