Join the Fleishman Career Center and the Graduate School for an informational session introducing Beyond the Professoriate, a career development platform designed specifically for doctoral students and postdocs. Learn how to navigate the platform’s tools and resources to explore diverse career options, develop job search strategies, and hear from PhDs who have successfully transitioned into roles beyond academia on the platform’s interview library. Whether you’re early in your program or planning your next steps, this session will help you make the most of your doctoral experience.

This informational session will include a workshop that will go over the interviewing process and prepare you for answering commonly asked questions during first round interviews.

*We encourage you to bring your laptops to access the platform.

Event Format:
10:00 – 10:30 AM: Introducing key resources on Beyond the Professoriate
10:30 – 11:00 AM: Tips on preparing for your interview and answering commonly asked interview questions.

Refreshments will be provided. (Light breakfast with coffee).
