Artist Talk! Guided tour of Rich Harrington's exhibition, Liminal Spaces: a visual memoir, at the Roberson Museum
Registration
Details
This is an incredible opportunity for our campus community to learn from an accomplished local artist! Students interested in art are encouraged to attend in order to gain practical knowledge about professional museum processes, such as: organizing a cohesive exhibition, writing artist statements and artwork descriptions, hosting opening receptions and artist talks, and performing community outreach to spread awareness of your artwork. This exhibition will be of particular interest to individuals who are eager to discuss LGBTQ+ lived experiences.
Further information about Rich Harrington and this exhibition can be found here: https://roberson.org/project/liminalspaces/
Exhibition runs through October 19.
This event was made possible through collaborations between the Bing Queers Faculty & Staff affinity group, the Fleishman Career Center, the Q Center, the Roberson Museum, and artist Rich Harrington.
All areas of the Roberson Museum are accessible via elevator.
