Are you a junior or senior interested in government, policy, or lawmaking? The NYS Assembly Internship Program provides upper-level undergraduate students the opportunity to spend a semester in Albany working alongside Assembly members and professional staff during the legislative session.

At this session, you’ll learn about:

-The structure and benefits of the internship

-Application requirements, eligibility, and deadlines

-Academic credit and funding opportunities

-Career pathways of past interns

This program is designed for juniors and seniors and is especially valuable for students considering careers in government, public policy, law, communications, or nonprofit work. All majors are welcome.

If you anticipate a need for disability-related accommodations or auxiliary aids to attend or participate, please contact The Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development at careers@binghamton.edu. We ask that you provide us with at least 3-5 days of advance notice regarding your equal access needs.
