Come join alumna Liz Cottle ’19 in a two part series to learn the fundamentals of international nonprofit management and practice making a compelling pitch to a development donor for $10 million. Liz Cottle is Chief of Staff Office at Aceli Africa, a nonprofit that subsidizes banks for making loans to high-impact agricultural businesses in East Africa. She has raised and currently manages $100M+ in donor funds and actively participates in nonprofit strategy and governance.

What to expect:
Gain insight into the international development sector from a nonprofit perspective, including types of roles and desired qualifications for the field.
Learn the basics of donor management, donor life cycles and how funding flows to the ground level.
Practice building and presenting a compelling pitch deck to a development donor for $10M.
