One Health is the idea that professionals across fields can be untied and recognize the connection between animal health, human health, and the environment. To celebrate National One Health Day, we invite professionals from the One Health Field to speak about their profession and how it relates to One Health. This speaker conference will involve speakers including Binghamton University Professors, local Health Care Workers, non-profit leaders and more...

These speakers will present a topic of choice and students will be able to learn of various health professions and ask questions. We hope to foster community and communication to create advocates with the goal of creating a transdisciplinary partnership between healthcare, animals, and the environment to advance medicine and public health. This event will include fundraising and all proceeds from the event will go to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW), which is a network of food pantries located in Broome County focused on providing emergency food to people requiring assistance.
