Great teams don’t just perform—they feel safe, heard, and a true sense of belonging. This workshop helps leaders build that kind of culture by making inclusion the foundation of how they lead. You’ll explore how to foster empathy, fairness, and self-awareness so that every team member feels valued and supported. With practical tools and strategies, you’ll learn how to create an environment where people feel confident speaking up, contributing fully, and being themselves at work.

This session will be led by Lani Kosick Ames, Doctoral Candidate at Alder University, AmeriCorps VISTA Leader and Equity Advocate.

This session is the Supervisors - Inclusion Safety, within the broader context of Psychological Safety in the Workplace series, but all are welcome to attend!

This event will take place on June 5th from 1-2:30pm in the UUW 325.
Refreshments will be provided.
If you anticipate a need for disability-related accommodations or auxiliary aids to attend or participate, please get in touch with Angella Kim at 607-777-2882 or akim@binghamton.edu. Please aim to provide us with at least 3-5 days of advance notice regarding your equal access needs.
