As the cold weather leaves us and spring has come upon us, wouldn't it be so exciting for students to grow their own plant while watching everything grow green around us once again? This event aims to distribute pots, seeds and dirt to students who are interested in growing their own plants. Students will be presented with a variety of different options of seed such as different types of plants, such as flowers, vegetables or fruits, and they will choose one type of plant that they would wish to grow. The dirt for the plant will be provided separately so that the students can independently place the dirt and seeds into their pot. After the students have picked up their materials, they will be encouraged to join a zoom link so that they can be with a bunch of other students as they plant their new friend! If the weather permits, the bench outside of Johnson will be used as the primary distribution center. If the weather is rainy, there will be a table set out in the main lobby of the Johnson building.
Food Provided (Individually pre-packaged cookies.)
