DEI Search Committee Orientation

Search Committee Orientation is ideal for search committee members, chairs, hiring managers and department admins. The workshop focuses on understanding the impact of bias in the early stages of the search process, establishing inclusive search committees, drafting inclusive job descriptions and understanding the process for submitting all forms at the right time in the process. This two-hour workshop is essential for all search committee chairs and search committee members who have not been trained in the last year in an effort to increase our competencies in diverse recruitment at Binghamton University.

Participants need only attend one of the sessions. RSVP for access to the Zoom session. The scheduled trainings this academic year are as follows:
