Upperclassman Chats - with Decker College senior Maia Dela Cruz

Decker students are invited come grab a snack and chat with Senior nursing student Maia!
"Hi, my name is Maia Dela Cruz, and I am a traditional senior nursing student who was able to accelerate my program by one year. I am originally from East Brunswick, New Jersey. I completed an externship at RWJ Barnabas Health University Hospital on a Med-Surg Telemetry floor and am currently completing my capstone at UHS Wilson ST3, a Cardiac Telemetry/Med-Surg unit. After graduation, I hope to pursue a pediatric residency program. In addition to my clinical experience, I serve as a Student Ambassador for the Decker School of Nursing. I am also the Academic Coordinator of the Mary E. Mahoney Nursing Support Group on campus, where I oversee the Preschool Volunteer Program, MEMtorship Program, and various nursing-focused informational events." The purpose of this event is for first and second year Decker students to have an opportunity to meet upperclassman nursing students, chat and ask questions about the years to come!
