David is a passionate advocate for patients fostering collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
David began his career as an Emergency Medical Technician then Paramedic in the early 90s. He worked as a paramedic for 12 years advancing into management and assisting with education in the US as well as overseas in India.
David began his nursing career in 2004 as an emergency room nurse working at small rural emergency rooms and the regional trauma center. In 2007, he was recruited to work on the Guthrie Air helicopter as a flight nurse/paramedic. During his career as a flight provider, he worked as the regional education coordinator as well as safety coordinator.
In 2015, David graduated from Binghamton University as a FNP beginning work as a Nurse Practitioner in the emergency room at Robert Packer Hospital. Over the last nine years David continued to work in the emergency room, however took 3 years to work with electrophysiology at the Guthrie Clinic.
At this time, David has accepted a position as Lead Hospital APP for the Guthrie Healthcare System. Representing the APPs in 5 departments of the Guthrie System.
