To promote health equity, diverse global perspectives are necessary. An internationally diverse panel of healthcare experts will provide comparative analysis of health system structures, health outcomes, historical determinants of health, healthcare innovation, and climate change threats in countries across the regions of the world; such as Haiti, India, Taiwan, and Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Sharon Bryant, the Associate Dean of Access, Connection, and Engagement at the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, will moderate a panel conversation that includes Dr. Kimberly Harry (School of Systems Sciences and Industrial Engineering), Dr. Mei-Hsiu Chen (Director of Statistical Consulting Services), Dr. Reethee Antony (Division of Speech and Language Pathology), Dr. Sundeep Venkatesan (Division of Speech and Language Pathology), Dr. Pam Mischen (Department of Environment and Sustainability), and Community Research and Action PhD Candidate Ammcise Apply. Dr Bryant and all of the panelists are authors in the groundbreaking global health textbook Health and Healthcare Systems – A Global View, which was edited by Thomas Foley, Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Public Health. Attend the panel conversation to promote diverse perspectives of health and healthcare across the world and to celebrate the international diversity at Binghamton University. The panel takes place between 5:30 and 7:00 pm on Thursday, the 24th of September, in Room 102 of the Health Sciences Building located at 48 Corliss Avenue in Johnson City.
