Planning to vote in the 2020 primaries? New York has closed primary elections, so only voters registered in a party that is hosting a primary are eligible to vote! If you are a current NY registered voter and want to change your party affiliation, the deadline for the Board of Elections to RECEIVE your change of party enrollment is Feb. 14. This deadline applies to both the April 28 NY Presidential Primary and the June 23 local, state and federal primaries.

The Center for Civic Engagement will collect forms for delivery to the Broome County Board of Elections until 3p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14. Stop by our office in UU-137!
