Join the Southern Tier Young Professionals and Binghamton University's Center for Civic Engagement for a conversation with New York State Senator Fred Akshar. Senator Akshar will share his pathway to political office, discuss the importance of civic involvement, and encourage young people to find opportunities to make a difference in our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in discussion and ask questions.

Light refreshments will be served starting at 5:45p.m. The Senator will begin his remarks promptly at 6p.m.
