Political Party Enrollment Deadline for New York

Feb. 14 is the last day to change your party enrollment for this year's New York primary elections. Your change of party enrollment must be received by the board of elections where you are registered to vote by Feb. 14.

New York has closed primaries. Voter can only participate in the primary election of the party they are registered with. Unaffiliated voters are not eligible to participate in any primary elections.

You can change your party enrollment by completing a voter registration form. The CCE will accept forms for Broome County voters until 3p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13 in UU-137. We recommend that out-of-county voters use the online voter registration portal: https://rebrand.ly/voterregportal
