Lend a hand and help bring the Story Garden back to life after the winter! On Thursday April 17th volunteers will assist Discovery Center staff with a winter cleanup and spring planting to prepare this beloved community space for children and families to enjoy.

There will be two shifts to accommodate student volunteer class schedules. The second group of volunteers will meet at the University Union Bus Stop at 12:20pm and we will be departing for the Discovery Center Story Garden at 12:25pm. The second group will finish volunteering at 2:30pm and arrive back to campus by 2:45pm.

Free transportation courtesy of the OCCT Green Shuttle Bus will be provided along with gardening gloves.

After the project, volunteers will enjoy pizza and a guided reflection to wrap up the day at 2:45pm in UU 108. This is a great way to give back, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with fellow volunteers.
Food Provided (Pizza will be provided to all volunteers at 2:45pm)
