Make a Difference at the Identity Youth Center!

In collaboration with the Q-Center and MRC, the Center for Civic Engagement is providing a day of service volunteer opportunity at the Identity Youth Center in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Looking for a hands-on way to give back to the community? Join us for a volunteer project at the Identity Youth Center! We're sprucing up the space with window cleaning and general organization to ensure the center is a welcoming and vibrant place for the youth it serves.

Your efforts will directly support the Identity Youth Center’s mission to provide a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies. Whether you have a knack for cleaning or simply want to lend a hand, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact.

No experience is necessary, just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Free transportation to and from the Identity Youth Center will be provided.

Join us in creating a brighter, cleaner and more organized environment for the amazing youth in our community!

We will provide a light breakfast before the service project between 10 am and 11 am in UU-111. We will also provide pizza and host a debrief following the service project from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm in UU-111.

Date: January 24

Time: 12–2pm

Location: Identity Youth Center, 206 State Street, Binghamton NY
