Promote the Vote: Coffee and Conversation

This event promotes awareness of civic engagement, voter registrations and resources for the LGBTQ + Community. In upholding the ideals of Democracy, it's critical that all voices are heard, discussion flourishes, and individuals gain confidence in their ability to create change in their communities– regardless of their sexual orientation.
"Promote the Vote: Coffee and Conversations" will provide resources for students to create their voting plan, create voting groups for the LGBTQ + community and learn about voter registration.
There will be conversation about current Legislation in the House regarding the LGBTQ+ Community, your past experiences in voting, challenges you've faced and how you overcame these challenges. Coffee and pastries will be provided. The Center for Civic Engagement and Q-Center hope to see you there!
