AmeriCorps and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention joined forces to launch Public Health AmeriCorps to support the next generation of public health leaders who will be ready to respond to the nation's public health needs.

Join the Center for Civic Engagement and the Rural Health Service Corps to learn about this unique opportunity to gain public health experience and serve your community while receiving a living allowance (up to $15,000), funding towards tuition or student loan costs (up to $4,546.50), and training from Cornell University. Students may also be able to earn internship credit for their AmeriCorps experience. Positions range from 20-35 hours per week and are expected to begin in September 2022, with options for both current students and for graduates seeking a gap year experience.
