Center for Civic Engagement Day of Service Volunteer Project with P.A.L. Camp in partnership with 9/11 National Day of Service, PCCE and Americorps

Looking for a way to make a lasting impact? Join us at P.A.L. Camp, where volunteers will help do some trail maintenance of a hiking trail that BU Students created last year along with general clean up. This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, give back to the community and help provide a safe and fun space for local youth to explore nature. No experience is needed; just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help! OCCT will provide free transportation from campus to the camp and back. Upon our return to campus, to thank volunteers, we will have a pizza party.

Bring a hat or sunglasses for sun protection, bug spray, sunscreen and a water bottle. Work gloves will be available for volunteers who don't have their own. Its recommended to wear pants/jeans. Also, all tools will be provided.

This project is possible by grant funding through 9/11 National Day of Service. Additional project supporters include Partners for Campus-Community Engagement (PCCE) and Americorps. 9/11 National Day of Service is the largest annual day of service in the United States, with more than 30 million people participating each year through acts of kindness, charity and volunteerism.
