Joseph Leach (BUAM), Museum Curation And Related Insights.
Joseph recently joined the Binghamton University Art Museum as a Curator of Collections and Exhibitions. His background is in Asian studies with a focus on visual culture in the Himalayan region. He has led a varied academic and arts-adjacent career prior to coming to Binghamton, and he is excited to draw upon that experience to support BU's students.
Anne Brady, Applying Acting Techniques—Presence, Intention, And Physical/Vocal Freedom—For Professional Success.
Anne Brady is a Professor in the Theatre Department at Binghamton University where she teaches voice, movement, and acting. At BU, she has directed and/or vocal coached over 47 theatre productions, and has also collaborated with both the School of Management, Watson College of Engineering, and the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator leading workshops in effective communication. Anne has worked nationally and internationally as an actor, director, and voice coach. A Designated Linklater Voice Teacher for over 20 years, Anne maintains a private practice coaching others to become more confident, expressive, and inspiring communicators as well as more effective presenters.
Daniel Sonnen, Entertainment Technician Contracts, Taxes/Payroll, And Union Membership Considerations (Iatse).
Daniel is the Technical Director at the Anderson Center for the Arts. He is also an Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) certified technician, a certification that reflects his expertise in safe and innovative rigging and electrical systems. Daniel has played a pivotal role in managing technical operations at the Anderson Center, ensuring smooth productions for artists and audiences alike. His commitment to excellence extends beyond his role at the center as he also serves as the Secretary Treasurer for International Alliance of Theatrical Employees (IATSE) Local 54 in Binghamton, where he is a key advocate for the rights and advancement of local IATSE members."
