Looking to pick up basic design principles or add to your existing portfolio? In this Skills Lab, you’ll learn how to effectively bring your ideas and vision — whether you’re just starting out or planning to commit to a career in design.

Led by Brianna Crowther ’23, a recent graphic design graduate, this Skills Lab will expose students to the fundamentals of visual and graphic design. Crowther currently works at UBS Financial Services as a visual designer and branding specialist. Among her current projects, she prepares various print and digital assets, develops brand guidelines and provides creative advice to other departments at UBS.

What to expect:
Gain an understanding of the responsibilities of a graphic designer.
Develop your own artistry and creativity, while integrating constructive feedback.
Practice essential skills like typography, composition, and shape.
