Interstride Fall Symposium Watch Party

International students join Fleishman Center’s watch party as we host Interstride’s virtual Fall Symposium on November 15 from 11am to 5pm at UU 133A. Interstride is a central career resource hub for international students to find employers and jobs that sponsor H-1B, keep up-to-date with immigration news, and network with other international students and alumni. While the Symposium is from 11am to 5pm you may come and go as you please. Here are a few sessions we think you may find particularly helpful:

Student Start-ups: Strategies and Pathways (12:00-12:45 pm) – This session will address immigration questions budding entrepreneurs consider and explore work options for entrepreneurs during their studies and beyond.

Stronger Together: How the International Career Collective Serves Students Through Dynamic Collaboration (1:00-1:45 pm) – This session invites attendees to engage in an interactive workshop that leverages dynamic collaboration, the Creative Problem Solving process, and Design Thinking to address real-life challenges faced by international students and the professionals who support them.

Empowering International Students for Success in Business Communication (3:30-4:15 pm) – This session introduces Speech Masters, an innovative semester-long program for international students to enhance their cross-cultural communication skills.
