International Student Professional Development Mini-Conference: Resume and Cover Letter Basics & Practice

Get a head start on your job and internship search! Co-sponsored by the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development and the International Student and Scholar Office, this three-day International Student Professional Development Mini-Conference will provide you with the tools you need to conduct a successful job and internship search. Sessions will be spread out throughout the week and include: resume overview workshop, interviewing 101 overview, tailoring your material for the job search, and a personal Branding presentation that includes a LinkedIn overview. Refreshments and snacks will be served during the conference. Register ahead of time on Handshake.

Day 2: Resume and Cover Letter Basics & Practice

Date and Location: Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 2-4 pm at Old Champlain Atrium

This program will focus on the basics of U.S. resumes and cover letters. Join us to learn more about formatting while creating tailored bullet points for a U.S resume and showcasing your skills and experiences in an effective cover letter.
