Lauren Verrusio '06 holds a BA in English and Rhetoric from Binghamton University and currently serves as the Head of Consumer Communications for YouTube at Google

At YouTube at Google, Lauren focuses on developing creative and strategic opportunities across multiple business units including YouTube Creators, Public Figures, Fashion & Beauty, Gaming, Sports, Live Events, Brand Marketing + Consumer Moments and YouTube Production Spaces, in addition to working closely with YouTube's Chief Business Officer, Vice President of Content Partnerships and other Executives. Previously, Lauren led communications for YouTube Originals and worked on consumer communications for Google product areas including Google Play Music and Google Search. While at Major League Baseball, Lauren started the Entertainment Communications team, where she also produced a national concert series and brought MLB Network to market. Lauren began her career with Virgin Atlantic focusing on International Communications, Events and Partnerships in addition to writing speeches for Sir Richard Branson.

Fun Facts about Lauren:
-She played Division I Softball, was a two year Captain and represented her conference at the NCAA level.
-Despite playing softball for Binghamton, she still made it abroad and spent a Summer learning + traveling around Spain.
-Lauren currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBTQ+ organization in the country where she's volunteered for over a decade.
-She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her fiancé, Jen.
