Susquehanna Canoe with Outdoor Pursuits | Campus Recreation

After a safety orientation and an introduction to canoeing fundamentals, we will paddle the meandering Susquehanna. Great blue herons, kingfishers and perhaps bald eagles are a few of the bird species you could expect to see as you enjoy the calm of autumn on a river.

Strong swimming skills are required. Please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. Don’t forget a change of clothes and a towel to keep in the van.

Sign up in the Outdoor Pursuits office, EG-10 by Thursday, October 23. $35 fee includes transportation, a guide and any equipment.
