Shinrin-yoku, also known as forest bathing, is a Japanese-style of meditation that heightens mental clarity through the appreciation of nature. Come practice this therapeutic act with the staff at Campus Recreation. We will meet at the Outdoor Pursuits office in the East Gym before wandering down to the stream behind campus together. Once we come across a suitable spot, everyone will pick a place to sit down and spend a few moments bathing in the beauty and peace of nature. Visit Dean of Students online for a complete list of resources, activities and events happening May 1 – 12.
