Details

With a summit elevation of 2740 feet, the steady climb up to the Mt. Tremper fire tower on an old jeep road requires moderate effort. From the tower the Burroughs Range is magnificent, no matter what season it is! Look for the Devil's Path further out on the horizon. Bring along a small pack with lunch, snacks, and plenty of water for the day. Dressing properly for the weather and sturdy boots are a must. Bring extra money for a food stop. Outdoor Pursuits will provide microspikes for traction.
