Forest Bathing is an ancient practice of spending time in a forest named by the Japanese that has been practiced for its health and spiritual benefits for centuries. Scientific studies have now proven the benefits of this practice for stress relief, migraine management, and now even for virus and cancer fighting chemicals given off by the trees that benefit humans. Come and join Pastor Becky Kindig and Sister Rose Caseleno, members of the Binghamton University Interfaith Council, for this Soul Care Event as we spend time in the BU Nature Preserve to meditate, observe the beautiful nature around us, and soak up the benefits the trees provide.
