This one-hour workshop introduces play as a mindset and tool for unplugging from digital media. We’ll briefly look at how phone use affects mood, focus, and relationships. We’ll discuss what “play” really is and why it is vital for all humans. Through brief experiential activities and reflection, attendees will identify their own play styles and learn practical strategies to incorporate play as a tool for unplugging and increasing engagement with the world around them, improving focus, connection, and well-being.
