Each week, we’ll be hosting tabling events across campus where you can take part in simple acts of kindness, pick up inspirational messages, and learn how kindness boosts mental health, combats loneliness, and builds a stronger sense of belonging.
We’re also bringing awareness to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, helping students know where to turn when they or someone they know needs support.
Stop by, take the challenge, and let’s create a ripple effect of kindness across campus—because small actions can make a big difference. 💬✨
Challenge Week Details:
Day 1: August 25.
- Location: The Spine
- Time: 12:30 -3 p.m.
- Compliment chain challenge: Start a letter chain across campus. Pass a paper around and add to it before handing it to the next person.
Day 2: August 26
- Location: Marketplace (Fireplace Lounge)
- Time: 12:30 -3 p.m.
- “Can I sit with you?”: Find a new person and ask if you can sit with them. Pick up kindness discussion cards at our table to spark a fun conversation with them.
Day 3: August 27
- Locations: Hinman, C4, UNION
- Time: 12-3 p.m.
- Kindness Post-it Takeover: Post kindness Post-it notes all over campus to promote kindness with a compliment.
Day 4: August 28
- Locations: The Spine
- Time: 12:30 -3 p.m.
- Take a kindness selfie: Write a kind note and take a selfie with it!
Day 5: August 29
- Locations: The Spine
- Time: 12-3 p.m.
- Share a smile: Give out smiling stickers to friends, faculty and staff around campus to remind them to smile today!
