Yes you heard it folks, join the Binghamton Audubon Society and Marine Science Club for our annual Woodcock Walk! We will be traversing Field Trail in the evening in search of our legendary migratory shorebird visitors, the woodcocks (the guys that go "meep" and have that funny little walk). We will try to spot and hear them engage in their courtship ritual that they perform in the evening. Please bring sturdy shoes you do not mind getting muddy, dress appropriately for the weather (bring at least a sweater as an extra layer as it gets quite chilly up on Field), water (this walk is more strenuous than our normal walks), and a flashlight/make sure your phone is charged (we will be walking in the dark for part of the walk). We will depart from M-Lot Gazebo at 6:30pm. **Our rain date is 4/9, we will email ahead if we move the original date!!**
