Join us (10/4/2021) in UU215 at 7:30PM for your first CAPE (ASU) X CASU movie discussion event. We will be watching sections of "Suk Suk" (2019) and "Your Name Engraved Herein", both about Queer Asian identity and their portrayal in Asian media.

These forms of topics are often hidden and not discussed about in Asian-American culture. As Asian-Americans it is sadly common that these conversations are hidden from us because of our parents or generational beliefs we have. Because of these negative notions we grew to have, queer individuals in our community often feel ostracized from our community.

By watching these amazing movies and several other educational clips, then having a discussion, we are attempting to open a larger conversation on the issue.

This is a space where we come together to learn as a community and to support each other to become better people. A safe space shall be created and opinions are open and encouraged for discussion. We whole to see you there to support our community!
Food Provided (Snacks such as chip bags and packaged candy.)
