Calling all Hillside and Susquehanna residents! All residents are welcome to participate in the Apartments Co-Rec Football Double-elimination tournament! There will be 5 teams playing (those already established from co-rec football) however this tournament is an event, so we encourage all non co-rec regulars to come out in this knock-out style elimination event! The event starts at 11 am on Saturday the 9th and teams will be picked out of a hat as for who faces who. This tournament will keep rotating until 2 teams are eliminated, and the top 3 teams proceed to day 2, which is on the Sunday the 10th at 11am. The format of day 2 is a surprise. New players will be assigned to their team on the spot so they should pull up ready to go. If a team is drawn out of the hat and they don't have enough players at that time, they forfeit that game and it counts as one loss. Winners of this tournament (for co-rec players) get an extra man pass per half for a game. Winners of this tournament (even if you're not a co-rec player) will win a gift basket to share between the team as well! Yay! Invite your roommates, friends, and even pets. Notice: these games will be shorter than our normal co-rec season games so big risky plays are encouraged if you want to score. We hope to see you all there!
